TAN TIPS
Sunless tanning is a delicate science that requires preparation and post care to uphold a seamless natural radiance throughout the duration of the tan.
Take care of any hair removal at least 24 hours before, this includes shaving, waxing or plucking. Be sure to exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells. A fresh canvas ensures your tan will develop and fade evenly.
ALL other beauty services should take place before you tan. This includes mani/pedi, lashes, brows and hair. It is recommended to wait at least one week after getting injectables or laser services.
Shower off all lotions and oils 2 hours before your appointment. Do not reapply any moisturizers, deodorant or make up.
Totally up to you! We just ask that you undress to your comfort level, so you decide what’s coming off and what’s not! Any clothing you choose to wear during the session (undergarments/bathing suit) can simply be laundered once in a normal cycle to remove the solution.
Our mobile stylist will begin your appointment with a quick color consultation to determine the perfect solution for your skin tone, based on your personal preference and skin type. While we set up, feel free to ask us any questions. Once we're ready, you'll be asked to undress as much as you are comfortable. We will prep you and then begin the tan.
A total body transformation takes only 30 -45minutes!
Consultation + Set up + Service + Break down
With proper care your tan should last 7-10 days.
We recommend tanning two days before any special event, film/photo shoot or travel.
After the tan application wear loose dark clothing
Your first shower is a RINSE with NO SOAP. Pat your self dry and if you must, lightly moisturize.
Keep your showers light only using soap in the pit and groin areas. Use a gentle facial cleanser and avoid strong actives like retinoids. Drink water and moisturize your skin daily.
Extend the length of your tan with EMFY x Goldtrim products.
Waxing results typically last between 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the individual's hair growth cycle. Over time, regular waxing can lead to finer and sparser hair regrowth.
Pain levels vary from person to person. Some may find it mildly uncomfortable, especially if it's their first time. The discomfort usually lessens with regular waxing as the hair becomes finer and easier to remove.
For best results, hair should be at least 1/4 inch (about 6 mm) long. This allows the wax to grip the hair properly and remove it from the root.
If you have sensitive skin or conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or severe acne, consult with a professional or dermatologist before waxing. A patch test may be recommended to ensure you do not have an adverse reaction.
Yes, you can wax during your menstrual cycle, but keep in mind that your skin may be more sensitive during this time. If you choose to wax, wear a tampon or menstrual cup and inform your waxing technician.
Yes, pregnant women can get waxed. However, due to hormonal changes, the skin might be more sensitive. It's advisable to inform the waxing technician about your pregnancy so they can take extra care.
Brow services include a variety of treatments designed to shape, define, and enhance the appearance of eyebrows. Common services include waxing, threading, tweezing, tinting, and lamination.
Pain levels vary based on the method and individual sensitivity. Threading and waxing can cause mild discomfort, while tweezing might be less painful but more time-consuming. Tinting and lamination are generally pain-free.
Yes, but it's important to inform your technician about your sensitive skin. They may perform a patch test or choose a method that minimizes irritation, such as threading over waxing.
Brow lamination is a cosmetic treatment that involves using a chemical solution to straighten and lift the brow hairs. This process creates fuller, more defined, and uniform brows by setting the hairs in place.
Brow lamination results generally last between 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare.
Yes, but it's important to inform your technician about your sensitive skin. They may perform a patch test to ensure you do not have an adverse reaction to the chemicals used in the treatment.
The technician will apply a lifting cream to straighten the brow hairs, followed by a setting lotion to keep them in place. A nourishing serum is then applied to hydrate and condition the brows.
Brow tinting with henna-free tint involves applying a semi-permanent dye to the eyebrows to enhance their color, define their shape, and give the appearance of fuller, more polished brows. This type of tinting uses a synthetic dye instead of natural henna.
The results of brow tinting typically last between 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your skin type, hair growth cycle, and aftercare.
Mild redness or irritation may occur after a facial, especially if extractions are performed. These effects usually subside within a few hours to a day. If you have sensitive skin, inform your esthetician so they can use suitable products.
It's best to avoid wearing makeup for at least a few hours after a facial to allow your skin to breathe and absorb the beneficial products used during the treatment.
Yes, facials can be beneficial for active acne. An acne facial typically includes deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, and extraction to help clear breakouts and prevent future ones.
Many facials are safe during pregnancy, but it's important to inform your esthetician about your pregnancy. They will avoid certain ingredients and treatments that may not be suitable.
Our estheticians will assess your skin and discuss your concerns to recommend the most suitable facial for your needs. Feel free to ask questions and express any specific goals you have for your skin.
